Libby Benson, LICSW

A trusting, collaborative relationship is the key to a good therapy experience. I appreciate the diversity of racial, cultural, socioeconomic, sexual, and gender perspectives that my clients bring. In my over 30 years of working with clients, I am continually enriched and honored to get to know my clients and to play a part in helping them to realize their potential and to achieve their goals. While I have a psychodynamic perspective for understanding your experience, I take a strength-based approach and employ a variety of skills, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and mindfulness in attending to your overall well-being.
