Billing questions — Make a payment

What are your billing procedures?

We accept benefits from many, but not all, insurance carriers. We need current and accurate insurance information in order to bill your carrier. You are responsible for knowing the terms and conditions required of you by your insurance carrier for the payment of all fees, including co-payments, deductibles, and denied claims. Westside Behavioral Health needs to be notified whenever you change carriers to ensure the smooth transition of coverage and to avoid uncovered charges. You are responsible for any services not covered by your insurance carrier.

All co-payments and deductibles are due at the time of service.

What is your cancellation, no-show policy?

Please remember that unlike primary care medicine, we set aside a considerable amount of time exclusively for you. The courtesy of a timely cancellation call allows us to fill the appointment time, enabling another client to receive services.

If you do not show up for a scheduled appointment, and have not cancelled prior to the required 24 hour period, you will be billed a “no-show fee” of up to $90.00.

While there are always extenuating circumstances, we still reserve the right to bill up to $90.00 if we do not receive at least 24 hours notice of a cancellation. Monday appointments must be cancelled by the previous Friday.

Are there any other additional charges?

If you request that a report be written, there will be a charge which will be at the clinician’s standard non-contractual rate.

If you write a check for your co-pay, or for any balance due, please understand that if the check is returned for insufficient funds, Westside Behavioral Health will charge you an additional $30.00 processing fee.
